Lavender is in bloom, make lavender wands, talk a bit about butterfly attractors take home some lavender. Meet Rocky and his friends. Make animal tracks in the sand, study animal scat and handle animal pelts.

Storytime program from 3-3:30 pm. “Living off the Land: Bees are friends” Come join us for Bee stories, songs, and a craft with a special visit from local beekeeper and Va. Cooperative Extension Agent, Mike Lachance.

Spruce Creek Park

Located on Glenthorne LOOP just east of  RT 151 at Wintergreen . This beautifully landscaped park which connects to the Rockfish Valley Trail system has picnic tables and horseshoes.  It is available for public events.  The headquarters of the Rockfish Valley Foundation with informational kiosks is located there.  Also there is public wifi at the historic Wintergreen Country Store  building and a public broadcast weather station at  www.wunderground.com under zip code 22958.
